Cowerks - Restore the Shore, a New Jersey based 501(c)(3) non-profit, mission is to raise money through the online sale of t-shirts & other apparel for purposes of providing relief to those most affected by Hurricane Sandy.
It's board of trustees is made up of Bret Morgan, Danny Croak, and Nina Saporta.
We will be printing on fashion fit t-shirts and heavyweight cotton hooded sweatshirts. This ain't your throwaway bar shirt.
Choosing a size and quantity is easy. Just click on the smaller images above and you'll be able to add them to your shopping cart. When you checkout you'll be asked to provide a shipping address.
We are only able to accomodate the sizes and styles provided currently listed on the site.
No. All of our fundraising efforts are concentrated right here. There are others doing similar things but they are NOT affiliated with us in any way. Please do your vetting and due diligence beforehand to make sure they are a legit operation.
We believe imitation is the finest form of flattery. Seriously though, do your vetting and follow the money.
We are located right at the Jersey Shore so needless to say, we've been affected with power & internet outages for days (fortunately that's it - many of our friends don't even have places to go back to). We're working on getting up and running as quick as possible and are planning to ship in 2-3 weeks.
Yes, in most cases. However we might have to bill you a few additional dollars to cover the additional cost.
Cowerks – Restore the Shore, Inc. (a New Jersey 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation) is a collaboration between the people at Bands on a Budget, Humble Humans and Cowerks. The people at Humble Humans (Red Bank) provided the designs, the people at Bands on a Budget (Asbury Park) are providing the printing, and the people at Cowerks (Asbury Park) are providing the web development and web hosting.
We have been members of the business communities here in Asbury Park and Red Bank for years. Needless to say we wouldn't stake our personal or business reputations on something like this. If you want to learn more about Bret Morgan, President and Trustee of Cowerks – Restore the Shore, Inc., feel free to check out http://bretmorgan.me.
Learn more about the American Red Cross' disaster relief effort in the wake of Hurricane Sandy over at http://www.redcross.org/hurricane-sandy.
We have done a bunch of research over the past few days as to whom to donate money. There's a lot of options but we believe that at this time the Red Cross is the best organization to support. They've been on the ground since before the storm and have been on the front lines ever since.
If you have technical skills, extra computers, or can provide temporary office space we urge you to register at http://bit.ly/hurricanetechvolunteers.
If you don't have technical skills, no worries, just contact the New Jersey volunteer emergency response hotline at 1-800-JERSEY-7 or backup hotline numbers (which are being answered): 609-775-5236 or 908-303-0471.
